January 2026 Rescues
Chip - a stray beagle about 3 years old who is quite adorable with his blonde head. We named him Chip because he had a "chip" missing from one of his ears.
Chip had a cherry eye on both eyes that required surgery. Chip thanks everyone that has donated towards our matching fund so he could be neutered and have his cherry eyes corrected!
Chip looking very handsome!
Pretzel- another stray beagle brought to animal control. Since we named one Chip, we thought we'd name the next one Pretzel :)
Pretzel - very sweet and beautiful!

Gracie - On Jan 29, little Gracie needed an emergency cesarean. She had been in labor far too long. Her kidneys were failing and her heart rate and temperature were dangerously low. She needed a miracle to survive. Her owners wanted to surrender her, so Hopeful Hounds agreed to take custody.
Gracie: One week later, her IV and catheter were removed. She began eating solid food and was able to take her meds orally. She was doing better, but still had a long way to go.
Gracie looks like a little hippo. She's lost a lot of weight in the last 10 days, but was improving every day.
Gracie - Re-checking her bloodwork, she showed improvement, thank God, and thanks to all of you who prayed for her and donated for her treatment!!
Gracie showing less worry in her eyes. She is happy at feeding time and is wagging her tail.
Gracie looking much better! She has been a perfect patient. She seems very shy, but is now very happy to go for a tiny walk!
