July 2026 Rescues
Redford - a big handsome stray about 4 years old. We guessed Rottweiler mix or shepherd mix.
Redford has no idea how big he is, and tries to get into your lap!
Redford is a very polite, sweet dog!
Davey Crockett - a sweet and energetic Pointer mix found roaming the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Davey is about 12 months old, and is still very much a puppy.
At Animal Control, he loved getting attention, and getting his photo taken! He is a very fun dog!
Nancy - a tiny 8 week old kitten found by our friend and neighbor Nancy. She was taking a walk by the Rockfish River and heard a little meow. She searched and listened for other kittens but only found one. She fostered her until she was adopted :)
Nancy has white whiskers, white feet, and a tiny white stripe on her belly.
Lucy looking mesmerized by something!
